| Inspired by the
Big Lake, local Lake Superior glassblower
and artist Dan Neff personally
creates each piece of art in his Duluth
studio. These items feature a combination of
glass-blowing techniques for the base and a
lake-shaped center image using a glass known
as “dichroic” to achieve the foiled multicolor
effect. Each is a unique piece of art, thus
the hue of the lake image will vary from blue
to gold to green and even may alter in
different lighting and surroundings – always
beautiful! |
